Our goal is to provide our guests with a pleasurable dining experience while encouraging a balanced and healthy lifestyle, culinary exploration and community interaction.
The Dining Hall is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We offer nutritious homemade soups, an extensive salad and deli bar, and fresh hot entrees, in fact there is a selection of meals and desserts large enough to suit every one and more…Milkshake Mondays, Asian Pho bar, cookouts and themed dinners, chef prepared action stations made to order and amazing, and new this year our Grow Healthy vending machine.
Make healthy choices. There are options everywhere. Additionally we will do everything possible to accommodate special diets.
Most meals are cafeteria style, with traditional sit-down lunches on Mondays and Thursdays. During sit-down meals, you dine with your faculty advisor and fellow advisees.
The Dining Hall should be…
FUN…the kind of fun that makes roommates tell roommates not to miss the meal
ENGAGING…talk about your day, share an exciting moment or lend a helping hand
DELICIOUS…enjoy your meal, try something new, be creative
A HUB…it’s more than three meals a day. It’s social, respectful, fosters culture, and brings us together.
Farm to Table
Salisbury School is committed to purchasing locally grown meats, dairy, fruits and vegetables. The locally grown movement provides a true economic value to our local economy. Locally grown also promotes the use of less pesticides and chemicals, and provides for produce that is usually fresher and healthier. Finally, locally grown promotes an added economic value with lower transportation costs.
